”I felt like my head was going to explode, too much back and forth, too many people involved, no solution being found - this is how I felt right before I started this painting. I was about to loose it. So instead of having a nervous breakdown.. I stood up, walked over to my bin of paints, picked out 3 blues and a white, and started painting. Silence, PEACE, and concentration overtook my mind. I entered my flow state and centered myself. This experience reminded me how amazing and important art is to me on a mental and spiritual level. Creating this painting made me remember one of the main reasons I love to paint and how special it is to me to always have a space for art in my life. Truly, my escape.”
