Meet the Artist..

AKMcKayArt was created and designed by “Akaay”, a self-taught artist from the Delmarva area. The artist grew up close to the ocean and has always had a deep spiritual connection with the Earth. She comes from a large family and has always been encouraged to pursue her art by her loved ones. Her grandmother, aka “Nina” is her biggest inspiration regarding her work as an artist. 

Akaay has always been interested in astrology and has realized throughout her experiences that her art resembles the natural flow of the universe in many ways. Whether that be a painting that turns out to look like a colorful reef in the Caribbean Sea or a galactic world deep in the Milky Way. It is intriguing to see the different results, in each piece, we submerge ourselves and connect back to the roots from which we came.

At a young age, the magic of creativity and spirituality was brought into Akaay’s life. From then on, she has always made sure to have a place for art in her space. The artist is very passionate about traveling and yearns to see as much of the Earth as possible in her lifetime.

"I believe you are meant to do what you genuinely love while you are alive. I dedicate my art not only to those who are still on this Earth with me today but also to my guardian angels. I am forever grateful for being blessed with the faith to pursue my dreams."
